But, here we go! I have Thoughts. I've gotten back into drawing, now that I'm out of school. I've been focusing on anatomy, because believe it or not I'm a perfectionist and the anatomy in my gallery is... interesting. To be tactful. Really, it's not very good. And it bugs me. Also, I've noticed that my coloring is utter shit. Like, I clearly have no understanding about facial structure and shadows and light and all that. This is sounding awfully self critical, but y'know, it's all true. I'm not saying there's no hope for me, because that's not true. I have some talent. A little, but it's there. So I moved a couple weeks ago. During this move (which was only across town), I lost a brand new pair of Michael Kors pumps and... both of my sketchpads. To the freeway. So.... I won't be uploading anything new for a while. I'm a little depressed, to be honest. Anyway, the upside (if you can call it that), is that I will be obsessively uploading all of my work from now on, and will probably be uploading it here. So... yeah. Sorry that was such a downer entry.

So guess who got a scanner? That's right! And for free, too. So while I am still tablet-less and supah poor, I can at least scan in my pencil drawings. Which are sort of in between sketches and actual ~drawings. I've got about four or five to scan in and upload, which will probably happen next week or the week after, since I'm moving. I think my style has gone through anther shift. I don't know what, but it's different. And better. I think. I still avoid drawing hands like the plague, even though I actually can draw them. I guess I'm just lazy and can't be assed. xD Also, grad school continues to be awesome.
